- (Research):GOSPEL HERALD - Volume 79, Number 32 - August 12, 1986, page 554 BOSHART, Noah S., son of Christian and Maria (Schwartzentruber) Boshart, was born in Wellesley Twp., Ont., Oct. 10, 1888; died at People Care Centre, Tavistock, Ont., July 10, 1986; aged 97 y. On Jan. 21, 1920, he was married to Victoria Wagler, who died on Nov. 21, 1971. Surviving are 2 daughters (Dorothy Boshart and Verna Wagler), 3 sons (Elroy, Orlin, and Mel), 11 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. He was a member of Steinmann Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on July 13, in charge of Vernon Zehr, Elmer Schwartzentruber, and Fred Lichti; interment in Steinmann Mennonite Cemetery.
BOSHART, Noah S. -- On Thursday, July 10, 1986, at People Care Centre,
Tavistock, Noah Boshart, age 97, formerly of Wilmot Centre.
He was a member of Steinman Mennonite Church, RR 2, Baden and enjoyed many
years serving the public in his plumbing and repair business.
Beloved husband of the former Victoria Wagler who predeceased him November
21, 1971; dear father of Dorothy Boshart of Wellesley, Orlin of Wellesley,
Elroy and his wife Willetta of New Hamburg, Verna of RR 2, Baden, Melvin and
Bertha Boshart of New Hamburg. Also survived by several nieces and Nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, the late Christian Boshart and Maria
Schwartzentruber, one sister Mrs. Veronica Hartung and one grandchild, Joan.
Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron
St.,after 7 p.m. this evening and until noon Sunday, July 13, when transfer
will be made to Steinman Mennonite Church for service at 3 p.m., with Pastor
Fred Lichti officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
