- Judy DeMartin-Frank Obituary
Passed away on April 12, 2022, at the age of 61, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. She will be greatly missed by her husband Rob Frank, sons Landon Schmidt (Julia), Robbie Frank (Nazli), and Joey Frank (Brittany); her mother Mae DeMartin, and siblings Ellen Luft (John), Joy Gignac (Geoff), Janice Litwiller (Mike), and Tino DeMartin (Joan). Judy met her soulmate, Rob, when she was 14 years old. Growing up together they always wanted to grow old together. Although their time was cut short, the memories of bike rides, road trips with many unplanned detours, and concerts will be fondly remembered forever. Judy's happiest moments in life were when her home was filled with her family and dogs. When she was preparing food for family dinner, every utensil in the kitchen would be used, and Judy would smile saying 'Rob will look after me'. Her face lit up when she could proudly speak about her boys' accomplishments to everyone. A cheerleader on the sidelines of the field or arena, a support system when editing essays, and a proud mom watching them grow into wonderful young men that are all subsequently mommas' boys. It meant the world to her when Landon, Robbie, and Joey were next to her. Judy will be joining her beloved predeceased father Ernie as our angels. Likely, eating rosebuds and good salami watching on our family. Judy's family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2022, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2022, in the funeral home chapel followed by a reception. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation - MRI Machine or the Hamilton Health Science Foundation - Juravinski Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
"And I think to myself, what a wonderful world."
Rest In Peace. We love you and miss you. Our angel.
