- (Research):Mrs. Harry J. Thur
Mrs. Harry J. Thur of RR 1,
Waterloo, and formerly of El-
mira, died today at K-W Hospi-
tal following a lengtty illness.
She was 74.
The former Luella Bricker,
she was born in Woolwich town-
ship in 1896, a daughter of the
late Mr. and Mrs. John Bricker.
She was a member of Trinity
United Church in Elmira, the
Women's Missionary Society,
the Semper Fidelis class and
the Women's Institute.
Surviving are her husband,
whom she married in Tavistock
in 1923; two daughters, Mrs.
Frank (Bernice) Bernhardt of
Preston and Mrs. Donald
(Maureen) Seebach of Wa-
terloo; eight sisters, Mrs.
Florence Miller, Ada Bricker,
Mrs. Edna Hoelscher, Mrs. An-
nette Brown, Mrs. Hilbert
(Ruby) Hoffer, Mrs. Muriel
Lewis, Mrs. Reta Miller, all of
Elmira, and Mrs. Wilfred
(Viola) Bauman of Kitchener
and five grandchildren. She was
predeceased by one sister.
The body is at the Dreisinger
Funeral Parlor, Elmira, where
the service will be held Wednes-
day at 3 p.m., with Rev. Ken-
nethe A. Moyer officiating.
Burial will be in Elmira Ceme-
tery.
