- (Research):Gospel Herald - Volume 78, Number 18 - May 7, 1985 page 332, 334Snyder, Cleason G., died at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Cambridge, Ont., Feb. 14, 1985; aged 72 y. He was married to Myrtle Weber, who survives. Also surviving are 4 sons (John, Grant, Paul, and George), 5 daughters (Eunice-Mrs. Theder Derowin, Miriam-Mrs. Jack Biernacki, Ruth-Mrs. Tom McMann, Susan-Mrs. Ron Taniguchi, and Gloria-Mrs. Alden Gibson), 15 grandchildren, 3 brothers (Nelson, Roy, and Joseph), and 2 sisters (Minerva-Mrs. Roy Brubacher and Erma-Mrs. Cleason Horst). He was preceded in death by one brother (Orville). He was a member of Bloomingdale Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Feb. 18, in charge of Orland Gingerich and Bertha Landers; interment in the Bloomingdale Mennonite Church Cemetery.

Snyder, age 72 years, of 513-515 Langs Drive, Cambridge and formerly of RR 1, Waterloo.Mr. Snyder was a member of Bloomingdale Mennonite Church. He had farmed all his life in the Waterloo area, was a partner and director of the K-W Stockyards Ltd., a former member of the Twin City Milk Producers, the Waterloo Federation of Agriculture and the Waterlo Township Planning Board and School Board.Beloved husband of the former Myrtle Weber; dear father of John and Linda and Grant and Bonnie of RR2, West Montrose, Paul and Marjorie of Neustadt, George and Brenda of RR1, West Montrose, Eunice and Sonny Derowin of Mississauga, Miriam and Jack Biernacki of Breslau, Ruth and Tom McMann of OwenSound, Susan and Ron Taniguchi of Edmonton, Alta., and Gloria and Alden Gibson of Breslau; brother of Nelson and Roy of Waterloo, Joseph of Cambridge, Minerva (Mrs. Roy Brubacher) and Erma (Mrs. Cleason Horst), both of St. Jacobs. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren.Predeceased by his parents, Leah and Edwin Snyder and one brother Orville.Mr. Snyder's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good FuneralHome, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, today 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, At noon on Monday removal will be made to the Bloomingdale Mennonite Church for funeral service at at 2 p.m. (Monday), with Rev. Orland ginerich and Rev. Bertha Landers officiating. Interment to follow in the Bloomingdale Mennonite cemetery.
