- (Research): Obituary, THE RECORD - Jan. 6, 2006 ROSENBERGER, Victor - Peacefully, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2006, at the age of 98 years, at Fairview Mennonite Home, Cambridge. Victor Rosenberger, formerly of Breslau, was a longtime member of Breslau Evangelical Missionary Church. Beloved husband of the late Grace (Sherk) Rosenberger (2000). Dear mother of Elverne and his wife Louise of Victoria, B.C., Cecil and his wife Elsie of Kirkfield, Ontario, Percy and his wife Donna of Sarnia and Wayne and his wife Marilyn of Stayner. Victor will be missed by 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Survived by his sisters-in-law Marjorie Sherk, Isobelle Frey and Norma Sherk. Predeceased by his parents Christian and Phidelia (Reist) Rosenberger and by his siblings Beniah Rosenberger, Edith Toman, Clarence Rosenberger and Beulah Rosenberger. Relatives and friends are invited for visitation today (Friday, January 6, 2006) to Fairview Mennonite Home, 799 Concession Road, Cambridge from 2-4 p.m. then to the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King Street West, Kitchener from 7-9 p.m.. Transfer will be made Saturday, January 7, 2006 to Breslau Evangelical Missionary Church, 102 Woolwich Street, Breslau where the visitation will continue from 1 p.m. until the funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment at Breslau Mennonite Cemetery. Reception to follow in the church hall.
