ELMIRA - Russell Bolender,
49, of RR 1, Elmira, who died
Monday at K-W Hospital fol-
lowing a lengthy illness, was
born in Peel Township, March
13, 1917, a son of the late Mr.
and Mrs. Edward Bolender. A
drover and farmer, he lived in
the Floradale district all his
life.
Mr. Bolender was a member
of Trinity Lutheran Church,
Floradale.
Surviving are his wife, the
former Gladys Mattusch; two
sons, Edward and James of RR
1, Elmira; one daughter Betty,
at home; five brothers, George
and Cecil of Elmira, Morley and
Roy of Kitchener and Gordon,
Preston; four sisters, Mrs. Allan
Martin of Elmira, Mrs. Elias
Snyder, of Kitchener, Mrs. Peter
Spurgeon of Galt, Mrs. Fern
Skidmore, Toronto, and two
grandchildren. One brother,
Lorne predeceased him.
The body is at the Dreisinger
Funeral Parlor, Elmira, where
the funeral service will be held
in the chapel Thursday at 3
p.m. Interment will be in the
Elmira cemetery, Rev. Frank
Malinsky will officiate.
