Obituary:
- Elizabeth Ann "Eliza" was a daughter of George Lederman (1846-1927) and Hannah Biehn (1846-1921). She married Byron Schwartz on July 1, 1897, in Berlin (now Kitchener), Ontario. Their children were:
- Evelyn (1898-1982)
- Violet Ruth (1900-1974)
- Morley (1902-1905)
- Roxie (1903-1984
- Ruby May (1907- 1918
- Willard Roy (1911-1975)
- Harvey (1915- 1996)

Newspaper Death Announcement
For the second time within several months did the Grim Reaper Death call at the home of Mr. Byron Schwartz, when, on Sunday morning his beloved wife, (nee Eliza Lederman), passed away after a month's illness with Bright's disease, at the age of 44 years, 1 month and 3 days. Deceased, who had been living here for a number of years, had, by her genial disposition, her pleasant and winsome ways, made many friends who sincerely regret to learn of her passing away while yet in the prime of life. There are left to mourn the death of a loving wife and mother, her husband, 3 daughters and 2 sons, namely, Evelyn (Mrs. A. Holm) of Kitchener; Violet, of Waterloo; Roxie, Willard and Harvey at home, also her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Lederman, of Baden. Four brothers Charles of New Hamburg, William of Conestogo, Harry and Alex, of Baden, and two sisters, Mrs. Amos Leach, of Walkerton, and Mrs. Robert Knarr, of Conestogo, also survive. One daughter, Ruby, died last summer and one son also died some years ago. The funeral took place last Tuesday afternoon from her late home to the Methodist Church, where services was held, after which burial took place at the M. B. C. Cemetery here. The bereaved family will have the sympathy of a large circle of friends in their affliction.
