Married:
- Marriage Notice, Welland Tribune, Mar. 20, 1939, p. 10
A quiet but pretty wedding was solemnized on Saturday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Tallman of Allanburg when their youngest daughter, Eunice Myrtle, was united in marriage to Harold V. Dougherty, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Dougherty, also of Allanburg. The bride, given in marriage by her father, was gowned in wine colored crepe and wore a corsage of yellow roses. K. Dougherty was his brother's groomsman. Rev. J.L. Guinn of Fonthill performed the ceremony.
Following the ceremony, a buffet luncheon was served to members of the family and friends. The bride's mother wore a gown of navy blue crepe and the groom's mother chose gray with orchid trimmings. The rooms were tastefully decorated in yellow and mauve. Following a short honeymoon the couple will reside in Allanburg.
