The funeral of the late Elva Honsberger , beloved husband of Florence Honsberger, was held Monday afternoon from the family residence, Jordan Station, and was largely attended by sorrowing relatives and friends. Services were conducted by Rev, C.R. Albright, assisted by Evangelist C.G. McPhee of St. Catharines, and Rev. G.A. Cropp, of Fenwick. During the service Mrs. W.E. Troup, Miss Velma Cunningham, A.R. Smith and Mrs. Joseph Wismer sang "Safe in the Arms of Jesus" and "Good Night and Good Morning." Interment took place in Oaklawn Cemetery amidst a profusion of floral tributes. The pall bearers were: Messrs. J. Spence, J. Cline, M. Ryckman, D. Troup. S. Kratz and Ezra Honsberger.
The late Mr. Honsberger passed away early Saturday morning at the Millard Fillmore Hospital in Buffalo following a lengthy illness. He was born in Jordan, a son of the late Jacob an Annie Honsberger. Besides his sorrowing wife he is survived by one daughter, Dolly, at home; two brothers and two sisters, Ranie of California, Clayton of Jordan Station, Mrs. E. Swayze, Jordan, and Mrs. Beamer, Bismark.
