He was an active and faithful member of the Yellow Creek Mennonite Church, a member of the Yokefellows Sunday School Class, and one who gave strong leadership to the work of Mennonite Disaster Service and Mennonite Central Committee. He also served as a Church Trustee and Church Council member. He was a man of clear conviction, abounding love for his family, and a joyful discipleship.
