Mr. A. R. Cllmenhage. Albert Roy Climenhage, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Christian Climenhage, passed away at the Buffalo General Hospital Thursday morning, December 26, in his sixty-second year after an illness of several months. Bert Climenhage, as he was called by friends far and wide, was a well-known funeral director in Stevensville for the past forty years and local postmaster for thirty-two years. He was a member of the Stevensville United Brethren Church and served his church as a member of the Administrative Board and treasurer of the Sunday school. He was also a member of the Ontario Conference Board of Trustees. He was a regular attendant at the services of the Church. Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Edna Dean; one daughter, Catherine (Mrs. Douglas Gilmour; two grandsons, David and Robert Gilmour; his step-mother, Mrs, C. Climenhage. His only son, Robert A., was killed overseas three years ago. He has gone to join him in the mansions above. The largely attended funeral was held Sunday afternoon from the Cllmenhage and Son Funeral Home. Rev. A. Ward Woolner, his pastor, officiated, assisted by Mr. C. T. Houck of Niagara Falls.
