Windfall, Feb. 23 - An old resident of this place and one highly
respected died on Saturday in the person of Thomas Adams. Deceased has
been a quiet sufferer for a couple of years from Bright's Disease and
bore it with great patience. To his widow and family are extended the
sympathy of the community. The funeral takes place tomorrow to the U.B.
church and interment in the Upper Winfall Cemetary. The family are Mrs. J
Hewitt, Mrs. John Thompson and Mrs. Samuel Milton of the neighbourhood
and George and Amos at home.

Blenheim Centre - Thomas Adams of the 7th conc, brother of Amos Adams of
the 5th conc., who has been confined to his bed most of the time for two
years with kidney trouble, died on Saturday. Mr. Adams was about 63 years
old. He was an Orangeman and belonged to the Drumbo Volunteers for many
years. He was at Ridgeway the time of the Fenian Raid of 1866.
