- (Research):Obituary, The Record, Oct. 25, 2004 BAUMAN, Irvin R. -Peacefully, on October 22, 2004, at his home, in Kitchener, in his 85th year. Beloved husband to Helen (nee Lee). Loving father of Gladys and her husband Charles Lehman, Shirley and her husband Daniel Fraser and David and his wife Suzanne. Grandfather to Jeffrey, Michelle and her husband George Lehman, Alisia Edwardson, Laura, Lindsay Fraser, Joseph, Daniel, Matthew, and Andrew Bauman. Irvin will be fondly remembered by his great-grandchildren, Colleen, Kathleen and Danella. Survived by his brother, Alvin and his wife Anna Bauman; sister, Lovina Martin and Sarah Vale, also by his brothers-in-law, Melvin and Robert and his wife Mildred Lee. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Irvin was predeceased by his parents, Ezra and Magdalena(nee Reist) and his stepfather, Israel Brubacher; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Eli Martin, Joseph Vale, Frank and Dorothy Genter and Marilyn Lee. Irvin was a longtime employee of the City of Kitchener for 34 years. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 621 King Street W., Kitchener, today (Monday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m., Reverend Mark Richardson officiating. Private interment at Memory Gardens to take place. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to Easter Seals would be appreciated by the family and can be made by calling the funeral home 745-9495 or online 1057@alderwoods.com
