WEBER, Amsey M. - Peacefully, on Monday, September 8, 2008, at his home. Amsey M. Weber, in his 97th year, of RR 1, St. Jacobs. Husband of the late Lovina (Brubacher) Weber (2002). Beloved father of Henry and Agnes Weber of Heidelberg, Mary and Cleason Martin of RR 1, Stratton, Abner and Edna Weber of RR 1, St. Jacobs, Minerva and Irvin Kraemer of RR 2, Wallenstein, Martha and Edward Reist of RR 4, Listowel, Alice and Merlyn Martin of RR 1, Westmeath. Also survived by his step-son-in-law, Aaron Martin of Foresters Falls; one brother, Jacob Weber; one sister-in-law, Susannah Weber; 45 grandchildren and 146 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents, Israel and Mary (Martin) Weber; one son, James, his wife Lorene; three great-grandchildren; four brothers and two sisters. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home , Elmira this evening (Tuesday) from 7-9 p.m. Transfer will then be made to his home for visitation on Wednesday from 1-8 p.m., where a family funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 9 a.m. then to Martins Mennonite Meeting House, King Street North, Waterloo, for further public service and burial in the adjoining cemetery.
