- (Research):Ivan Habermehl
Ivan Habermehl, 57, of 480
Ottawa St. S. died Tuesday at
St. Mary's Hospital after a
brief illness.
Born in Waterloo Township,
he was a son of the late Mr.
and Mrs. John Habermehl and
was a resident of Kitchener for
the past 27 years. He was em-
ployed for 27 years at Kitchener
Dairies Ltd. where he was as-
sistant superintendent.
He was a member of Stirling
Avenue Mennonite Church and
the Independent Order of For-
esters.
Surviving beside his wife, the
former Ruby Heintzman whom
he married Nov. 12, 1938, in
Kitchener, are two sons, Ronald
of Kitchener and Brian, at
home; a brother, Ephriam, Hes-
peler; two sisters, Saloma, Kit-
chener, and Mrs. Albert (El-
vina) Fetter, Toronto, and two
grandchildren. One brother,
Norman, died in 1941.
The body will be at the Ratz-
Bechtel Funeral Home until 1
p.m. Friday when removal will
be made to Stirling Avenue
Mennonite Church for service at
3:30 p.m., conducted by Rev.
James R. Ruesser. Burial will
be in Woodland cemetery.
Donations to the church's
organ fund will be accepted as
expressions of sympathy.
