- (Research): MRS. MATHILDA GINGRICH
Mrs. Mathilda Gingrich, widow
of Solomon Gingrich died sudden-
ly at the home of her daughter
Mrs. Israel Martin of RR 2, Wal-
lenstein Dec. 29. She was 86.
She was a daughter of the late
Mr. ana Mrs. Noah Martin
of Woolwich Township. Her hus-
band died in April 1951.
Surviving are four sons, Noah
of RR 2, Bayfield, Seranus, Sim-
eon and Emanuel, all of RR 1,
Elmira, two daughters, Mrs. Is-
rael (Lizzie) Martin of RR 2,
Wallenstein and Mrs. Addison
(Selina) Martin of RR 1, Elmira,
two sisters, Mrs. Josiah Brubach-
er of RR 1, Elmira, and Mrs.
Edwin Martin of RR 2, Wallen-
stein, a brother Emanuel Mar-
tin of Toronto, 15 grandchildren
and 10 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was conduct-
ed at the home of her son, Em-
manuel Gingrich, RR 1, Elmira,
Thursday at 9 a.m. Service fol-
lowed at North Woolwich Men-
nonite Meeting House. Burial
was in the adjoining cemetery.
The body was at the home of
Emanuel Gingrich.
